Lugo - San Romao da Retorta 

Departing from Lugo through the Porta Miñá or Porta do Carmen, the oldest from the Wall, the Primitive Way crosses a Roman bridge and goes to the neighbourhood of San Lázaro.

On the way out of the city, the hamlet of San Vicente do Burgo deserves special attention since it used to house a hospital for pilgrims and has an interesting Baroque church. The Way goes further to the hamlet of Bacurín and then goes through the hamlet of O Francés (also known as "Hospital") to finally enter the municipality of Guntín.
